I Need A Hand With Cinco De Mayo

HI! Sorry for my absence. I’ve been dealing with a little thing called De Quervain's Tenosynovitis

It’s every bit as annoying as that name sounds.  (I'm only smiling to be brave.) It comes from too much typing, remote controlling and texting. It's getting better the longer I stay away from all that. But that doesn’t mean I have to forgo Cinco de Mayo.

or maybe Mojitos…

OR...there is an entire world of Margaritas out there on Pinterest! Click here for every conceivable spin on them (in general) or margarita RECIPES specifically. These caught my eye. And this pin reveals a great selection of margaritas with a couple of interesting twists. I also like this one and here are a few great variations.

OMG, this is what happens on Pinterest. You just keep finding more and more and more of whatever you're looking for, as well as what you're not!

Take some time away from your keyboards and enjoy a cocktail or two!

What should I serve? I’m thinking about White Sangria. It's easy to drink one-handed.

Oh my goodness, Sue, how awful! Not to mention it makes things difficult to accessorize ;-) Seriously, I hope it all gets better quickly.

Also, I'd be remis as a wine merchant if I didn't point out that wine pairs beautifully with a lot of Mexican food. I hope you won't mind my self-promotion: http://firstvine.wordpress.com/2012/05/02/this-cinco-de-mayo-dont-forget-the-wine/

Tom,
That's exactly what I said to the doctor!!! And he said black goes with everything!

I don't mind the plug for first vine at all. It was I who was negligent not to mention wine. (Does sangria count?)

My hands are shot from years of net surfing and typing. I've managed to keep it under control though with gel wrist rests and occasional use of braces.

I stayed far away from the Mexican places in the area on 5 de May. I swear I need to just get out the rocking chair because I just want to hole up and avoid public places on party holidays.

Feel better!

Hi Rachel,
I've always used a mouse pad with a gel thingie for the wrist until I melted it somehow and it started oozing. Ew.

That's right. You're close to a lot of action. The good news is that if you HAD wanted to go out, couldn't you have staggered home without needing a car?

Oh nooooo! You poor thing!! That sounds awful! Are you back to normal yet? I've never heard of this before. I think we're all doomed to get it. I text and type all the time.
