Last week we made a pre-Mother's Day visit to Longwood Gardens and we couldn't have picked a more magnificent day. MANY different varieties of tulips were in full bloom. I didn't even know tulips came in that many colors or shapes.

Lovely flowers. What gorgeous bouquets full of my favorites. Yuo are a lucky mother and I hope you had a great Mother's Day (and you have lucky children who have you to cook for them).
I have always wanted to see Longwood Gardens. I never got around to it during my college days.
