I found a steal on my local library booksale table ~ a 1990 copy of; "Rose's Christmas Cookies", by Rose Levy Beranbaum (author of The Cake Bible). Combines two of my favorite things, a bargain (paid $1.00 for it) and a cookbook about cookies!!!
Just bought My Napethe by Romney Steele and I can't get enough of it (It's for me). Such a beautiful book!

What a great find! One of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes is stained glass cookies from a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook that I got at a book fair. I wonder what you'll find in RLB's book.

I think it was "Jamie's Italy", which was over a year ago. I guess I don't buy many cookbooks anymore. I have too much fun pilfering blog recipes.

Pilfering is what blog recipes are for. MAKING them, of course, not posting them.
I found a real bargain yesterday at B & N! All of $ 7.98 for 100 GREAT BREADS, Paul Hollywood. Really looking forward to trying out some of those delicious looking recipes!
