Foodbuzz

Check out this wonderful new food website, Foodbuzz. It has all things food-related: blogs, restaurant reviews, great pictures and videos, and lots of interaction amongst foodies. AND they have really good taste too. I'm a Featured Publisher on their site, which just means that they like me! They really like me! You can find my blog there, but also photos and comments and, in the coming weeks, restaurant and other food reviews.

Interesting site-I bookmarked it. I haven't been happy with Epi of Foodtv.com lately. Really slow and hard to get around.
Congrats on being a publisher!

I checked it out on your advice. I love the look of it, but I feel like I'm not finding the "good stuff". I guess it's just not clear to me how to use the site, or really what it can do for me. What am I missing here?

Thanks Em,
The Food Network site IS annoying these days.

Hi Lunch Buckets,
Welcome!

It does take a bit of time to get used to navigating FoodBuzz. There’s a couple of cool ways to use it. Let’s say you’re going to a different city. Search for it and you'll get restaurants AND blog posts, for example, about that city. Or let’s say you’re interested in Tofu (I noticed that’s on their home page at the moment.) You’ll get a list that will include recipes, blog posts about restaurants that serve tofu, or restaurant reviews. It’s a more foodie oriented search result than you would get from Google with fewer unrelated or not-what-you’re-looking-for results that are so annoying on regular search engines. At least that’s what I find. Also the local features are good. You can find local restaurants, local blogs, photos of interesting local stuff.

Try it...you'll like it.
